Who We Are

Our Mission

The Calvin and Janet High Family Foundation will generously “give good measure” by building our community to connect, empower, uplift, and make a difference in people’s lives and well-being.

History

As a family and foundation, we uphold a commitment to “give good measure” – a phrase that was coined by Calvin’s father, Sanford High, founder of High Welding Company (later to become The High Companies). It is a statement of commitment to integrity, quality, and respectfulness in everything we do.

Our Work

Currently, The Calvin and Janet High Family Foundation gives to nonprofit organizations in Lancaster County, Pa, the original home of the family and the community that has contributed to the success of the family business, The High Companies, for more than 90 years.

Our Giving

We consider it an honor and privilege to come alongside and support nonprofit organizations as they serve the community and deepen their impact.
